Role Overview

The Vehicle Registration Officer manages the administrative and government process for vehicle registration, renewal, transfer, plates and de-registration in Saudi Arabia. The role works across government e-platforms, inspection and insurance requirements, document control, compliance and dealership systems.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Process new registrations, renewals, ownership transfers, plates and de-registration.
• Use Saudi platforms such as Absher Business, Najiz, MVPI, Tamm, Fasah and Sabir where required by the process.
• Coordinate MVPI inspection, Tameen insurance and regulatory clearance requirements.
• Liaise with Traffic authorities, MoCI, SASO, ZATCA, insurers and inspection bodies.
• Track work-in-progress and registration KPIs and escalate delays.
• Maintain secure custody and accuracy of registration and ownership documents.
• Check Istimara, invoices, insurance, ownership and other supporting documents before submission.
• Use SAP/DMS reports and follow standard operating procedures.
• Monitor regulatory changes and update registration processes accordingly.

Qualifications and Experience

• High-school qualification is the minimum; a diploma or bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• 2–4 years of experience in vehicle registration, government relations or administration in automotive, leasing or rental businesses in Saudi Arabia.
• Hands-on experience with relevant Saudi government e-platforms.
• Dealership experience is preferred.
• Arabic and English are required for communication and bilingual data entry.
• Working knowledge of SAP/DMS is relevant to the role.
