Required jobs in Ooredoo company and their details:

1. Associate Director – International Infrastructure Development

Key Responsibilities

  • Enhance, develop and implement Ooredoo Group's international network expansion roadmap, including submarine cables, terrestrial fiber, and PoPs.
  • Lead feasibility studies, planning, and deployment of new submarine cable projects.
  • Oversee full lifecycle management of submarine cable investments, including negotiations, Construction & Maintenance Agreements (C&MA), and implementation.
  • Identify investment opportunities in international network infrastructure.
  • Ensure network design and architecture align with Ooredoo's long-term strategic vision.
  • Consortium & Partner Engagement
  • Represent Ooredoo Group in global submarine cable consortiums, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy.
  • Develop strategic partnerships with global carriers, submarine cable operators, CDN, Internet Exchanges, cloud providers, and hyperscalers.
  • Negotiate and manage cross-border infrastructure partnerships to enhance Ooredoo's international connectivity.
  • Collaborate with regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with telecommunications laws and industry standards.
  • Commercial & Financial Management
  • Develop business cases for international infrastructure investments, including cost analysis and ROI assessment.
  • Oversee contract negotiations for submarine cable and capacity investments.
  • Optimize financial performance through cost-effective sourcing and infrastructure sharing agreements.
  • Track global market trends, pricing strategies, and competitive positioning for international connectivity.
  • Operational Execution & Asset Management
  • Maintain and update records of Ooredoo's international broadband capacity assets.
  • Ensure network performance, resilience, and redundancy in international connectivity.
  • Implement asset lifecycle management strategies to optimize infrastructure utilization.
  • Develop global capacity restoration plans to mitigate service disruptions.

2. Associate Director, Sales - Europe & America

Associate Director - Sales, Europe and Americas is responsible for managing the Europe and Americas regional sales and account management of Global Sales (B2B & Wholesale Data Connectivity services) for Ooredoo Group with focus on alignment and integration of the international Data Connectivity businesses for Ooredoo Group/OpCos, leveraging its scale and reach

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide inputs for strategic plans for regional accounts aligned to the overall strategy of OBS(Ooredoo Business Services) and implement those plans to ensure maximum returns
  • Owns the regional leadership of B2B and Wholesale capacity sales to drive profitable incremental growth and increased market share for Ooredoo OpCo's/Group B2B and Wholesale capacity/Data Connectivity products sold to Communication Service Providers (CSPs) and Telco's
  • Constantly develops own knowledge of the regulatory frameworks within the OpCo countries to identify opportunities
  • Drives B2B and Wholesale Capacity sales and cost objectives through efficient team and personnel management skills
  • Acts responsible for achieving incremental sales targets for his region through the sale of the full suite of the OpCo's/Group's existing and new B2B and Wholesale capacity products and solutions and managed services to both current customers and new prospects
  • Builds long-term relationships with regional customers, develops detailed account plans for the key customers, accurately manages sales pipeline and generates incremental revenue and margin for OpCos/Group
  • Sweats all existing OpCo B2B and Data Connectivity assets and maximize global synergies to deliver a significantly differentiated customer selling and service experience to existing and new customers 
  • Provides reports on a regular basis on progress within the region to Global Head of B2B and Wholesale Capacity Sales which clearly demonstrate regional activities, changes to markets and progress against targets

3. Director Infrastructure

This role is responsible for leading the plan, technical design, implementation, and modification including new and change requests for IaaS. The role is also responsible for the consolidation of distributed IaaS efforts and the implementation of multi cloud architecture. About You:

  • 12 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Significant experience in the Telecommunications Industry, demonstrating solid understanding of Telecom Business Models, Operating Environments and Processes across Technology, Sales, Marketing, Customer Care, Finance, Regulatory and Legal and Telecom BSS/OSS Information Technology and Software Systems.
  • Ability to demonstrate subject matter expert level expertise in the areas of infrastructure, IaaS platforms.
  • Proven experience in Planning, design, and deployment of: Data center, IaaS, Edge computing etc.
  • Good working knowledge and past experience on Program/Project Management practices, Team Leading, Vendor Management, Contract Management and infrastructure planning & Designing.
  • Cultural awareness and past experience working in Middle East and/or in Qatar and understanding of Middle East/Qatar market dynamics is considered a plus.

4. Manager - Test Management

Key Responsibilities

  • The Test Manager is responsible for the overall, day-to-day management of a specific task order or group of task orders affecting the same or related/interdependent systems.
  • Schedules and assigns work to contractors and monitors progress and resolves discrepancies to ensure
  • compliance with work/quality standards and contract/task order requirements.
  • Ensures that the technical solutions and schedules in the task order(s) are implemented within
  • estimated timeframes and budget constraints. Introduces innovative approaches and methodologies for
  • processes and support systems.
  • Define Testing Strategy: Develop and implement a test strategy aligned with SAP Activate methodology and project goals.
  • Develop comprehensive test strategies aligned with project goals.
  • Define scope, objectives, and timelines for testing phases (SIT, UAT, Regression)
  • Plan & Coordinate Testing Phases: Oversee unit, integration, system, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Lead end-to-end testing activities across SAP modules (S4hana, SF, Ariba, Integrations etc.,).
  • Manage test environments and data preparation.
  • Oversee defect tracking, triage meetings, and resolution.
  • Create and manage test cases using tools like SAP Solution Manager, Cloud ALM, or Tricentis Tosca etc.,
