Laboratory Doctor
Eden Health Center is seeking a qualified and licensed Laboratory Doctor to join our multidisciplinary medical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the laboratory's diagnostic operations, ensuring the accuracy of test results, and upholding the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct and supervise routine and specialized medical laboratory tests (hematology, biochemistry, microbiology, serology, etc.).
Interpret laboratory test results and communicate findings to physicians.
Ensure compliance with QCHP and Ministry of Public Health regulations.
Monitor the performance of laboratory instruments and ensure proper calibration and maintenance.
Maintain accurate documentation and participate in quality control programs.
Oversee lab technicians and provide technical support and guidance.
Ensure adherence to infection control and biosafety protocols.
Requirements:
Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with specialization in Clinical Pathology or Laboratory Medicine.
Valid QCHP license (or eligibility to obtain one).
Minimum 3 years of clinical laboratory experience.
Excellent knowledge of laboratory testing procedures and equipment.
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
