Required jobs in International School of London and their details:
1. School Nurse
The school nurse oversees the physical, social, emotional and mental health of students. She/he must possess a wide range of skills, knowledge and experience to fill this position efficiently.
This includes having excellent organizational skills and flexibility is necessary to meet the demands of students with a variety of needs. She/he must be able to offer high calibre, reliable counsel and knowledge in best practice nursing.
She/he ought to be able to use resources effectively to raise the requirements for nutrition, safety, and general health and wellness for all students and employees. She/he should possess enough pedagogical knowledge and abilities to contribute to the development of an effective and healthy learning environment.
Qualifications and experience.
- Possess valid Qatar
- Registered Nursing license
- Minimum 5 years of recent work experience
- Preferably have experience in
- international schools nursing
- Possess valid ILS and PLS certification
Knowledge and Skills
- be aligned with the ISL values of belonging, integrity, grit and kindness
- training in health, community care and counselling
- have experience in working with children requiring developmental health care and health education
- have an excellent command of spoken and written English (strong ability in Arabic would also be a great asset)
- be able to participate fully in the development of an expanding IB school

- be able to provide basic health education to mixed culture and ability students using a variety of styles to create appropriate learning opportunities for student where appropriate
- be familiar with Qatar policy and international developmental health requirements for children and young adults
- be familiar with current developments in school health care issues
- be able to develop rapport with students and create an atmosphere of trust and respect
- Be able to maintain confidentiality amongst students and staff cases
2. Academic Assistant for Primary & DLAI
Knowledge and Skills:

- possess excellent communication and collaborative skills
- have the ability to develop and work with teams, including collaborating and maintaining effective relationships with all levels of the school administration, departments and employees
- be able to provide support for members of the front and back-office team
- have absolute discretion in handling confidential information
- ability to analyse, evaluate and prioritise challenges and issues and develop workable solutions
- have the ability to be proactive, manage multiple priorities and fulfil responsibilities with minimal direction
- have an excellent command of spoken and written English (strong ability in Arabic would be an advantage)
- be proficient in using office software and management tools
Responsibilities:
- fostering the values, dispositions, behaviours, attitudes and attributes of the ISL Qatar guiding statements and IB learner profile
- being the first point of contact for any enquiries, messages and coordinate appointments or meetings for the Head of Primary and Director of Learning, Analytics and Innovation (DLAI)
- Attending teaching staff meetings, support in preparing the agendas and minutes of meeting when necessary
- Managing food orders for Primary school during events and functions, ensuring timely delivery and coordination
- managing the dissemination of school-related emails to parents, staff and other stakeholders
- supporting in the daily morning Primary registration, ensuring accurate student attendance records
- recording and updating information on bulletin notes, early-leave requests and approvals in school database (iSAMS)
- Recording and updating all student information regarding classes and subject allocation.
- Ensuring appropriate cover arrangements for any staff absences and cover teacher assignments
- sending communication to Primary School teachers and parents regarding student late and absences
- preparing attendance letters and transfer certificates in both Arabic and English as needed for communication with Primary School parents
- providing support and assistance to parents with their enquiries, requests, concerns, and ensuring high leave of customer service
- collaborating with teachers in addressing and supporting parents' needs and enquiries related to their children’s education
- Assisting in the setting up and organization of Primary School student assemblies such as Grade 5 Celebration of Learning events, parent-teacher conferences, other parent meetings and other special events.
- Assigning late room duty for teachers and ensuring that the late room is always covered
- Any other duties assigned by the Head of Primary and Director of Learning, Analytics & Innovation (DLAI)
