We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Plastic Surgery Consultant specializing in Reconstructive and Hand Surgeries to join our renowned medical team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert consultation and care to patients requiring reconstructive surgery, including those with hand and upper extremity injuries, congenital defects, or conditions related to trauma. The ideal candidate will have experience in advanced surgical techniques, patient management, and a strong passion for improving the quality of life for individuals requiring reconstructive care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert consultation and surgical care for patients needing reconstructive and hand surgeries, including trauma reconstruction, nerve repair, etc.
  • Assess and diagnose patients’ conditions, offering personalized treatment plans and surgical solutions.
  • Perform advanced reconstructive procedures with a focus on hand and upper extremity surgeries.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and nursing staff, to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

The position holder should be highly trained with proven experience of effectively working in an emergency room or urgent care setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To coordinate care and medically manage newborns born premature, critically ill, or in need of surgery.
  • Ensure that critically ill newborns receive the proper nutrition for healing and growth.
  • Provide care to the newborn at a cesarean or other delivery that involves medical problems in the mother or baby that may compromise the infant's health and require medical intervention in the delivery room.
  • Stabilize and treat newborns with any life-threatening medical problems.
  • Consult with obstetricians, pediatricians, and family physicians about conditions affecting newborn infants.
  • Actively participate in the planning and implementation of the department development plans and the different manpower training programs for the medical, technical and nursing staff in his/her area of expertise.

  • Participating in scheduling of on-call duties and provides on-call services.
  • Participating in the assessment and updating of drug, medical supply and equipment needs.
  • Participating in all relevant research activities related to their expertise.
  • Performs special procedures as privileged.
  • Adheres to policies, guidelines, plans and programs of the organization.
  • Performs other duties as assigned/directed by the Head of the department.
