-Being creative, logistical and taking lead with projects as well as presentations
-Taking lead and managing the team across all stages of the project
-Designing floor plans, spatial layouts, and furniture plans.
-Developing initial proposals to include existing and proposed layouts
-Being involved in building strong relationships with their clients throughout the creative process.
-Visiting site to ensure projects are in keeping with design and development
-Coordinating with architects and engineers to integrate structural and mechanical requirements into the design documentation.
Ensuring that designs comply with applicable laws and regulations to ensure the safety and well-being of occupants.
-Establishing and maintaining relationships with vendors, suppliers, and manufacturers. Sourcing and selecting the best products and materials based on quality, cost, and design suitability.
-Negotiating contracts and managing procurement processes.
-Promoting environmentally responsible design choices and certifications.
-Conducting professional and persuasive presentations to clients, showcasing design concepts, materials, and furniture selections.
Requirements
Degree qualified in Architecture, Interior Architecture, or Interior Design
10+ years’ experience working on hospitality, residential or commercial projects
Excellent knowledge and proficiency with AutoCAD, Sketch Up, Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, Photoshop.
Broad knowledge and understanding of design styles and trends
Experience at a Senior Designer level with good knowledge of running high-end projects
Be self-motivated with excellent attention to detail
Excellent time management skills
Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
