Purchasing Officer is required in Qatar
Description
of primary purpose or role: -
To monitor and control the purchases of the various buyers in the company. To ensure that purchases are made with competitive terms of quality, price and payment.
Responsibilities:-
· Responsible for the procurement of goods and services from the vendor for business requirements.
Ensure that purchase orders are properly prepared and sent to suppliers on time.
Ensure the best prices, quality and favorable credit terms for all purchases through competitive quotations.
Monitor and maintain the Procurement Master File for all procurement.
Compile purchase orders, follow up with suppliers, and ensure goods are delivered on time.
Control cost by negotiation and achieve competitive market prices and provide savings report.
Prepare reports and updates as and when required.
Monitor and advise on any issues that pose a risk or opportunity to the organisation.
Build, maintain and manage supplier relationships and maintain good communications.
Other responsibilities may be assigned from time to time.
