Procurement Engineer – Fit outs & Joinery
Job Summary
We are seeking a Procurement Engineer who is detail-oriented, thorough, and organized professional, who is having good experience in Fit outs / Joinery projects to oversee local as well as international purchases and develop new contracts. In this position, you will play a key role in procuring high-quality and cost-efficient supplies for our organization. You will follow procurement procedures, maintain an updated list of current and incoming inventory, and be responsible for approving purchases.
Job Description
To exercise general control over all activities in Procurement Department. To ensure safe keeping both as to quality and quantity of materials & maintain proper records.
To initiate purchase requisitions for the replacement of stock of all regular stores items whenever the stock level of any item of store approaches the minimum limit fixed in respect thereof.
· Estimate and establish cost parameters and budgets for purchases
· Create and maintain good relationships with vendors/suppliers
· Make professional decisions in a fast-paced environment
· Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other important data
· Review and analyze all vendors/suppliers, supply, and price options
· Develop plans for purchasing equipment, services, and supplies
· Negotiate the best deal for pricing and supply contracts
· Ensure that the products and supplies are high quality
· Maintain and update a list of suppliers and their qualifications, delivery times, and potential future development
· Work with team members and Operations manager to complete duties as needed
Salary Details
Net salary will be in the range of Qrs.10,000/- along with Medical, Insurance, Leave Salary, Gratuity, Leave Air tickets etc
