The selected candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking food items at their designated station.
Candidate must specialize in Tandoori Cuisine, including handling the tandoori grill.
Responsibilities include the following tasks:
· Keep the kitchen organized and running smoothly
· Prepare food in accordance with the standard recipes and specifications in the designated work area
· Ensure proper food handling and sanitation
· Cleaning, tidying and maintaining the kitchen and tools
· Ensure wastage is minimized by careful supervision of food preparation methods
· Ensure proper hygienic storage methods are utilized to prevent food loss
· Follow safe work practices at all times
· Practice food safety methods
· Assist head cooks with tasks in the kitchen
In view of the evolving needs and opportunities within the company, this position may be required to perform other duties as assigned and reporting relationships may vary.
Physical requirements:
· Ability to stand for long work hours
· Ability to traverse all parts of the restaurant quickly
Must be able physically fit
Shared housing and Transportation to be provided by the company
