Provide technical support: Provide technical support and assistance to customers over the phone, email, or in person, including training end-users on the proper use and maintenance of equipment.
Manage inventory and logistics: Manage inventory and order parts and supplies as needed. Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure that necessary parts and equipment are delivered to the correct locations.
Document and report: Maintain accurate records of service calls, parts used, and work performed. Create reports for customers and internal teams.
Ensure compliance: Ensure compliance with safety standards, industry regulations, and company policies.
Field service technicians must have excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. They must also possess strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with customers and colleagues. Additionally, they must be willing to travel and work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
