- Operating a variety of vehicles including cars, vans, truck
- Transporting people or goods from one destination to another
- Following applicable safety laws, rules and regulations
- Completing daily vehicle checklists and maintenance logs
- Keeping an accurate log of travel and working hours
- Providing excellent customer service to passengers
- Ensuring vehicles have adequate fuel and other supplies
- Advising management of any vehicle maintenance needs
- Loading and unloading goods from vehicles
- Collecting fares, payments, or other charges from passengers
- Interacting with customers in a professional and courteous manner
- Negotiating traffic and navigating routes utilizing GPS or other navigation devices
