Job Description.
Receiving of project materials/equipment from local and international shipments. Perform detailed physical checking (Physical count) and visual inspection of materials as per Packing list and purchase orders. Manage and train workers assigned under you. Making MRR, OSD report for the materials received without Mill certificate, discrepancy in quantity and description, damaged packaging, damaged items etc., and inform this to Material Controller and handover to Data Entry operator. Preparing the Daily Receiving Report (DRR) of materials received, inspected, and storage location in laydown or Warehouse and hand over them to the SPMAT Operator and inform to Material Controller Responsible for the Safe keeping of all Stock and Non-Stock items and maintain cleanliness and orderliness of materials and storage area., Placement of received and inspected items in assigned storage (and dispatch) location and perform basic preservation. Preparing materials/equipment for dispatch as per the MDS(Material Dispatch Slip) released by the SPMAT operator and Material Controller/Supervisor Ensuring that the stored materials are properly protected from the weather. Carrying out regular physical inventory and verifying with the Data Base records/information. Maintaining box files and reports for proper records. Resolving all common issues or discrepancies for the materials receipt on daily basis.
