For one of our top clients, a very important player in the global oil&energy industry, we are looking for a

Senior Facility Engineer to join the Power and Water group, in Qatar.

The primary function is to oversee a special project to build a solar power plant with total capacity of 877 MW to support some of the facilities.

In addition, this engineer will support the existing power plants that the company has a stake in by overseeing reports on their performance etc.

Key requirements for the role:

• Solar Power experience(>100MW),

• HV experience,

• 10-15 yrs

• Regional experience (preference)

1. Bachelor's Degree in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering is required. Higher academic qualification is preferred

2. Minimum of 15 years of broad based relevant industrial experience required, in an operational environment, preferably in plant management with at least a direct exposure to commercial and business development activities

3. Good understanding of discounted cash flow valuation methods and metrics such as NPV, IRR & financial metrics such as ROCE

4. Strong communication skills and proven decision making and problem solving skills. Good command of the English language is essential, both written and verbal

5. Strong negotiations and interpersonal skills are required
