Sr. Contract Specialist
Job Location: QATAR
Job Details:
The Senior Contracts Specialist is responsible for the ongoing management of Non-Framework tenders including all phases of procurement and contract administration to assist Drainage Network O&M and Road O&M Division Sections to deliver the requirements of both Department.
Review of pre-tender documentation including all required pre-approvals, tender plan form, BOQ, SOW and draft tender volumes, Ensure that all embedded information are in line with PWA regulations and procedures.
Review the content of tender circulars and tender clarifications and ensure that tender clarifications are issued in a timely manner and captures the clarifications with adequate clarity.
Ensure tender documents meet PWA standards, and risk assessment and risk mitigation measures are adequately identified, addressed and managed in accordance with PWA HSE Risk Management Guidelines
Qualification
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
Education qualification obtained from North America, West Europe, Australia
Holder of Chartered Membership in relevant discipline (e.g. Engineering) would be an advantage
Holder of current/valid Qatar Driving License would be an advantage
Experience
Minimum of 15 years of experience preferably in water/ wastewater industry.
Experience of working within a multi-cultural environment preferably in the Middle East
Experience in contract management, Project lifecycle, variations, claims for extension of time etc.
Broad experience in construction sector with demonstrated experience in Contract Management
Experience in projects involving Government Departments and Outsourced contractors/consultants.
