Construction Lead Sub-Sea Structures
Our client, major LNG Operator in Qatar, is hiring for Construction Lead Sub-Sea Structures to work for major offshore project (Offshore Brownfield & Greenfield scope). This is a contract and residential role to be based in Qatar with initial contract duration of 2 years (renewable).
Job Purpose
Leads the supervision and oversight of the NFXP Pipelines sub-sea structures contractor team field planning, coordination, and execution activities within designated area of responsibility.
Appraises the performance of the NFXP Pipelines sub-sea structures contractor team in safety, quality and schedule
Prepares and provides routine verbal and written progress reports to the Head of Construction, QFAB and updates S-curve performance of the contractor with analysis of shortfalls to achieve progress.
Ensures that the NFXP offshore Pipelines sub-sea structures contractor Team develops, implements, and sustains its safety and quality program at site.
Review the NFXP offshore Pipelines sub-sea structures contractor‘s construction deliverables such as method statements, construction procedures, concrete quality checks as per company specifications.

Job Specification And Requirements
Participate in technical reviews regarding maintainability and inspect ability of installations during Pre-FEED, FEED and Detailed Engineering.
Throughout the Project, control and ensure follow-up of Electrical engineering activities in line with MIEC.
Review and validate the selection, supply chain and inspection of all operating spares, held at Company and / or Contractor warehouses at start-up and the delivery and inspection of specific tools and capital spare parts.
Provide assistance to the MIE contractor Work Package leaders with regards to Maintenance issues.
Review technical documentation as required and provide comments / feedback in Electronic Documentation System (EDMS).
Provide technical support and assistance during and after the start-up of the new facilities for all MIEC related issues.
During Basic Engineering Phases: o Ensure that maintainability aspects, handling requirements and Maintenance access are properly addressed. o Participate to design reviews as required.
Follow contracts as directed by MIEC Leader.
Attend weekly and monthly meetings with MIE contractor.
Identify areas of concern, challenge, and identify / implement improvement measures.
Ensured all outstanding Electrical related actions were managed and closed out within time.
Challenge MIE contractor for late delivery and any potential requirement for Change Orders.
