We are looking for qualified candidates for HOSTESS (QATAR based applicants ONLY) with proven work experience in Fine Dining Restaurants, with valid Food Handling Certificate, holding a valid Qatar ID and able to provide NOC to join immediately our Restaurants located in Doha, Qatar.

 

Summary:  The Hostess will handle the first impression any customer gets of the restaurant, she will answer phone calls, customer queries and booking reservations. She will monitor guest waiting list ensure that tables and seats are well arranged and that customers are accommodated as they come. She will also be responsible to assist the Restaurant Manager in keeping the hospitality atmosphere with the guests and employees. She will be the first one to interact with guests as they arrive and enter the restaurant to welcome them and guide them to their tables according to the guests’ preference.

 

Functions:

Your duties will consist of but will not be limited to: 

·     Schedule reservations in advance for guests and maintain a legible and up to date reservation book.

·    Welcome and greet guests as they arrive and put them on a waiting list as necessary.

·      Have a thorough knowledge and understanding of all food and beverage items offered by the restaurant and handle guest enquiries in a courteous and efficient manner and report guest complaints and feedback to the Restaurant Manager

·  Seating guests at tables or in waiting areas and assist guests who require extra attention (e.g. children, elderly).

·      Assigning guests to tables according to the guests’ preference, while keeping table rotation in mind so that servers receive the right number of customers.

·      Answer phone calls according to the restaurant standards and take guest reservations or provide information regarding the restaurant service.

·     Recognize regular guests by name and maintain and update the restaurants guest history.

· Regularly check the reservation book for next meal reservations.

·   Assist the guests as they leave, open the door, and help them to their way to the exit.

·    Ensure that guests are being attended to and assign tasks to the serving personnel for smooth running of the restaurant operations.

·      Maintain a clean and organized work surrounding and reception area.

·      Successfully perform opening and closing procedures established for the restaurant.

·      Monitor operating supplies, equipment and reduce spoilage and wastage successfully and assist in carrying out scheduled inventories of products and operating equipment.

·      Follow all relevant health department regulations.

·      Provide excellent customer service to customers.

·    Responsible to Assistant Restaurant Manager in keeping the hospitality atmosphere with the guests and employees.

·  Maintain and coordinate the printing of the respective restaurant menus.
