Ensuring proper management information system & Reporting
Finance Planning and Cash-Flow planning
Receivable Mangement, Payable Mangement and Working Capital Mangement
Handling all accounting matters with Airlines / BSP / Clients / Suppliers etc
To ensure smooth IATA / BSP Payments and other supplier payments
Follow up with clients to ensure meeting collection Tragets
To Ensure proper invoicing of tickets & delivery to the customers.
To Ensure proper Processing of vouchers, Credit notes/Debit notes.
Preparation of all Documents for BSP including refund, ACM, ADM, etc.
Responsible for Preparation and Maintenance of books of Accounts.
Monitoring of Collections, cheque deposits and payments.
Ensuring that the statutory obligations are duly complied with.
Co-ordination with customers, suppliers and auditors.
Managing and assisting the Accounting team.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Key Performance Area 1: Accounting Activities
Preparation, Maintenance and finalization of books of accounts.
Working capital budgeting and forecasting to meet the normal business needs.
Providing MIS reports to the top management for decision support.
Compliance with the statutory, banks and BSP guidelines.
Key Performance Area 2: Collections & Follow-up
Updating the Customer’s account on daily basis and follow-up with them for prompt payment.
Ensuring that the funds were collected from the customers in time.
Providing the necessary assistance to the Customers (Invoices, credit notes, faxing the required papers).
Key Performance Area 3: Banking Activities
Ensuring that the collected cheques/drafts were properly deposited in the banks.
Drafting for the Bank guarantees/Overdraft facility.
Reconciliation of transfers and bank accounts.
Key Performance Area 4: Office Maintenance
Providing the customer related support to the Counter staff.
Ensuring that the credit notes/debit notes, receipts were properly accounted.
Providing the assistance/guidance to the accounting team.
Ensuring that the accounting staff correctly accustomed to the management guidelines
